The Design team at Peaches and Mangoes draws inspiration from the motifs of monuments that have the intricacies engraved in their walls, from the majestic Taj Mahal to the illustrious Etmad-ud-daulla.
A fascinating dream on fabric
Zardozi is a beautiful fusion of two words: zar: meaning ‘gold’ and Dozi meaning “work”. It is a beautiful handcrafted art that embellishes fabric with thread. It is a special style of embroidery unique to Central Asia, especially parts of Afghanistan, Turkey, Kuwait, Iraq, Azerbaijan, as well as the Indian Subcontinent.
